Formerly married soap stars Colleen Zenk and Mark Pinter underwent a parent’s worst nightmare last month.
Their son, Morgan, passed away at just 28 years old on April 10, according to an obituary in The Aspetuck News, a local Connecticut newspaper.
Zenk and Pinter met back in the 1980s when they both appeared on As The World Turns and wed in 1987. They each brought had children from previous relationships, and had two children together, Morgan and Georgia.
Morgan Pinter was born on February 21, 1990 in Danbury, CT and graduated from Joel Barlow High School in Redding. He later earned degrees in philosophy and English from Lafayette College in Easton, PA.
His parents divorced in 2010 after 23 years of marriage. Zenk spent 32 years playing Barbara Ryan on As the World Turns, while Pinter appeared on a variety of soaps, including ATWT, Guiding Light, Loving, All My Children, and Another World.
