Everyone needs to do spring cleaning from time to time and apparently soap star Susan Lucci isn’t any different.
Well, she’s kind of different — because her garage sale is going to be held online and will include several of her Daytime Emmy Award dresses – with all items starting at $1.
Even better, a portion of the proceeds from the sale will go to help children and adults with cerebral palsy through the nonprofit UCP of NYC, according to People.
Starting March 1, Lucci will be auctioning off over 300 items. Joining the dresses will be anything from china and couches to purses on Everything But the House, which handles estate sales.
Can you imagine having something that was once owned by the pop culture icon to call your very own?
Lucci is fresh off a week of guest-hosting duties on the Hallmark Channel’s Home & Family, including attending a reunion with many of her former All My Children costars. The actress was obviously moved by all of the memories, especially the segment segment honoring her coworkers who have passed away.
There has been talk of the soap making a comeback on Netflix but as of now it remains just rumors.
The actress will also be making an appearance on this year’s Emmy Awards, which will be taking place on April 30. She told Soap Hub that she will be there to anchor a tribute to Agnes Nixon. Who knows — maybe the dress she wears can be sold at the next online garage sale.
