The soap world is reeling after learning about the death of actor Joe Mascolo.
While he is most known for playing Stefano DiMera on and off for the last 30 years on Days of Our Lives, the actor also appeared on several other soap operas and is well known across the board.
Once the news broke about his death on Friday afternoon, social media was lighting up with tributes from former co-stars and admirers alike. And while Stefano may have been the most hated man in Salem, the actor was liked and respected by all who knew him.
Below are many of the messages that were shared via Twitter. Please add your own thoughts about what he meant to you in the comments section.
