As word spread about the death of multi-Daytime Emmy Award-winning actor, Kristoff St. John from The Young and the Restless, the daytime community paid tribute to the incredible actor.
It was in 1989 that St. John joined daytime when he played the role of Adam Marshall on the NBC soap Generations. In 1991, he took on the role of Neil Winters on The Young and the Restless and during all those years, he earned the respect and adoration of the soap world.
Former Y&R co-star Jessica Collins said, “Heartbroken to read this terribly sad news. Kristoff was a lovely soul and always so kind to me during my time at #YR. Sending love and my condolences to his family and closest ones. 🙏❤️”
Days of Our Lives star Martha Madison (Belle) may have shared the sentiments of many when she tweeted, “I did not know him personally, but I’ve been a huge fan of his work for decades. My deepest sympathies to his family, friends and colleagues during this heartbreaking time.”
Current DAYS and former The Bold and the Beautiful star, Linsey Godfrey, wrote, “I’m so sad to hear this news. I had the pleasure of working across the hall from him for years. He was such a truly lovely and kind person. I have no words. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. What a true loss.”
