Emmy-winner Rick Hearst, who’s been on General Hospital (ex-Ric), The Young and the Restless (ex-Matt), Days of Our Lives (ex-Scotty) and The Bold and the Beautiful (ex-Whip) is now adding a nighttime soap to his credits — The CW’s Dynasty.
The actor, who also appeared as Alan-Michael on Guiding Light, shared on social media that he’s going to do an episode of the prime time soap and, if his hashtag in his Twitter post is any indication, the actor will be playing a character named Senator Daniels.
A politician character recurred in the original Dynasty. Actor Paul Burke played the part of disgraced Congressman Neal McVane, who tried to frame Alexis for murder by donning a black wig and pushing Mark Reynolds off a balcony to his death.
Hopefully, Sen. Daniels will be less villainous and stick around for a while!
Dynasty airs Wednesdays on The CW at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
