Veteran soap actress Tonja Walker (ex-Olivia, General Hospital) has suffered a devastating family loss.
The actress shared that her beloved husband, Edward Davidson, has died from pancreatic cancer.
Walker took to her Facebook page with the news that her husband Edward Davidson passed away this morning, December 7 at 5:38 a.m. ET. Davidson had been fighting pancreatic cancer since 2015.
In addition to Walker, Davidson leaves behind daughters, Isabella, 20, and Abrianna, 19, both of Easton, Connecticut, and also his daughter Samantha of Los Angeles, and sons Alec and Evan of Cleveland.
“My husband was a force in Cleveland Business and Philanthropy for most of his life,” Walker wrote on Facebook.
“A successful entrepreneur best known for his work in Relocation and owner of the largest privately held relocation company in America at one time, Cooperative Resource Services.
“But the MOST important thing about Ed was his love for his family… and he professed the importance of the Jewish legacy to strive to Heal the World.”
Davidson and Walker have been active with Project Love of Cleveland, Cleveland Centers for Families and Children, United Cerebral Palsy on New York and others.
Also, Walker’s late husband played a key role in developing and promoting Cleveland Sports Stars Hall of Fame, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, where he served on the board of directors and was named an Ernst & Young/Nasdaq Entrepreneur.
Soap Hub sends its deepest condolences to Walker and her family at this time of great loss.
