There are now six wildfires burning out of control across Southern California, and many of your favorite soap stars live in the danger zones.
While countless actors have been asking for thoughts and prayers and praising first responders, those whose homes were in harm’s way have been checking in after evacuating — if not via Twitter, then with co-stars who have been sharing their updates.
General Hospital’s James Patrick Stuart (Valentin) has been letting fans know about co-star Finola Hughes (Anna), and telling followers that she’s okay. Hughes’ onscreen daughter, Kimberly McCullough (Robin) learned that her house survived.
Days of Our Lives’ Jen Lilley (Theresa) was also forced to evacuated but took a moment to let fans know she’s okay.
The damage has been horrifying and The Young and the Restless star, Doug Davidson (Paul), shared an image to Instagram that brings home how real and terrifying it all is.
Kimberlin Brown (Sheila) from The Bold and the Beautiful updated fans that her avocado farm was spared. You can see the updates for yourself below.
In the meantime, the fires continue to grow due to the raging Santa Ana winds and dry conditions on the ground. Soap Hub sends its own thoughts and prayers to everyone affected by these fires and gratitude to all of the first responders taking care of people and animals.
We evacuated. We’re safe for now. Just hoping our home is. https://t.co/b5Mx04ow5J

Thank you for your prayers. Just heard from a neighbor our house is standing. However fires are still out of control

Update: Family safe. Hoping the Thomas fire stays east and the winds push it back upon itself to spare homes and to give the incredible army of firefighters a chance to get it somewhat contained. Too many heroes to count. https://t.co/L9OoyYHlCp
