The Young and the Restless Daniel Goddard
A veteran soap actor recently discovered he is the victim of a herrendous online scam. The Young and the Restless (YR) star took to social media to alert fans of the criminal activities!
Daniel Goddard has a stark warning for his many fans. Do NOT fall for an Instagram account purporting to be him–and asking for money!
Apparently, someone has been impersonating Goddard on the social media platform and the actor had to take to his own verified account with a video to warn him followers to ignore this imposter.
Goddard assures his fans and followers that the account he posted the video from is his only account, but the faux account is using many of his own photos, including ones from when he injured his arm on set nearly three years ago.
The fake account is also claiming Goddard is in desperate need of cash and have asked people for as much as $500.
Goddard insists he would never ask fans for money and apologizes for what’s happening. He begs his fans to report the page if they see it and to please not fall for anyone trying to personally contact them pretending to be him.
