She’s no longer in Genoa City or in Salem, but Eileen Davidson (ex-Ashley, The Young and the Restless; ex-Kristen/ex-Susan, etc., Days of Our Lives) has a brand new project!
She’s playing the part of KC in the independent movie Walk to Vegas!
The film is a true love affair for Davidson as it stars, and was written and produced by her husband Vince Van Patten (ex-Christian, Y&R), who’s worn many hats including that of a professional poker player.
“It’s really a fun movie,” Davidson tells Soap Hub, noting the origins for the film began a while back when they were celebrating their wedding anniversary.
“I told Vinnie that he should write a movie about his home game because he’s had so many adventures. That was the beginning of it.”
In the film, Van Patten’s character, Duke, takes a bet as to whether or not he can take on a physical challenge.
“It’s about a group of gamblers,” Davidson explains. “These are people who are always betting on everything. They decide to make a bet to see if Vinnie’s character can walk to Vegas.”
Davidson says audiences will root for Duke because “he’s a family man, a good guy, who is taking on this big bet to help his family. I don’t want to reveal too much, but I will say that he wants to be a good provider, let’s put it that way.”
