On-Screen Soap Star Pair Suffers Aftermath of California Flames

The mother-daughter team of Anna and Robin have been through quite a lot together over three decades on General Hospital (GH).

Now, off-screen, actresses Finola Hughes and Kimberly McCullough are going through quite a lot separately as a result of last month’s California wildfires.

Both women had extensive damage to their homes, and one has even been displaced and is practically living like a nomad.

On December 30, McCullough tweeted that she and her little family of three–including an infant–had moved six times in under a month, but that her insurance company had finally found them some semi-permanent housing.

Meanwhile, Hughes had so much damage to her home that her belongings have to all be shipped out for massive cleaning, as everything absorbed so much smoke.

She posted a pic of the work she’s had to do to Instagram, getting everything ready for cleaning, and disrupting the lives of her family of five that includes two teenage boys and one young girl.

However, she admitted it could have been so much worse as so many people in that region now have no home at all.
