Linsey Godfrey, who is currently Sarah on Days of Our Lives but was first Caroline on The Bold and the Beautiful, has faced her share of medical issues over the years… and now she has one more.
After having survived Hodgkin’s lymphoma as an 18-year-old, Godfrey was in a horrible accident a few years ago when two cars collided, with one hitting her as a pedestrian. The actress was injured so badly she had to learn to walk again.
As she told ET Online back in 2015, “I saw my feet and kind of the state that they were in, which was not facing the right direction. Both of my ankles were dislocated and broken and then my tibia and fibula, which are your shin bones, went through the skin.”
Now, she has yet another surgery to endure, which may be connected to that same accident.
“Oh what’s that Linsey you’re getting the metal taken out of your left leg tomorrow? Oh, better be careful with it then!”
Unfortunately, she goes to let us know that she wasn’t exactly careful with it.
“Oh no? Let’s just run your shinbone so hard into the corner of the bed that you can barely walk on it before your surgery instead? Oh awesome great idea genius.”
Ouch! Soap Hub wishes Linsey Godfrey a speedy recovery from her upcoming surgery.
