Fenmore Baldwin was involved in a bullying storyline a while back on The Young and the Restless.
What many may not know is that the actor who plays him, Max Ehrich, also experienced bullying in real-life, which nearly resulted in a tragic outcome.
As society continues to shine a spotlight on abuse, both physical and verbal, Ehrich has come forward on social media to reveal that during his teen years he was bullied and admitted the emotional effect it had on him.
It got so bad, the Emmy-nominee says, he almost ended his life.
“Almost took my life when I was 15 because I was bullied so intensely for being an artist in a small town in New Jersey,” Ehrich posted. “Your support means the world. Your differences are your power. Stay authentic. Believe me when I say IT DOES GET BETTER. And if you need anything- dm me.”
Whether or not Ehrich reaches back to you (we can imagine his inbox is being flooded), it’s important to seek help if you’re being bullied.
In addition to posting in Twitter, Ehrich also wrote on his Instagram page: “I will share more of my journey soon.”
