Who could ever forget Cassie’s (Camryn Grimes) death on The Young and the Restless? Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) were at their daughter’s bedside when she breathed her last breath. The show’s trademark theme played as Sharon and Nick’s anguish grew greater.

The couple never really recovered from Cassie’s death though recent events have placed them together under one roof once more.

Days of Our Lives’ Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) is frowned upon by almost everyone in Salem because of her selfish ways. Guess what? Her mother, Marlena (Deidre Hall), had an affair with John (Drake Hogestyn) while she was wed to Roman (then Wayne Northrup). So even though Sami can be quite abrasive, she was justified in ripping into her mom for her adulterous ways!

Cloning is in the news today because Barbra Streisand had her beloved dog cloned. Guiding Light got in on the subject of replication when Josh (Robert Newman) had his “late” wife Reva (Kim Zimmer) cloned.

At first, Reva thought her double was her nemesis Annie (Cynthia Watros) with detailed plastic surgery, but, in reality, she was a clone named Dolly.
