The soap opera ratings race for the week ending October 28 brought some more bad news for Days of Our Lives, which has had a hard time with numbers through much of 2016.
Days of Our Lives
DAYS was the only soap down in total viewers. The NBC soap–turning 51 years old on November 8–pulled in 2,182,000 viewers on average, down 27,000 from the week before and 476,000 from the year before. The soap also lost ground from the previous week and previous year in all three female demographics.
The Young and the Restless
The Young and the Restless once again maintained its perpetual number one spot, garnering 4,626,000 overall average viewers, up 152,000 from the week before, but down 301,000 from the year before.
Y&R lost ground from the previous year and previous week in all three female demos, except women 18-34, where it gained 5,000 viewers from the last week.
