A major upheaval at The Young and the Restless, and some big returns — and a resurrection — on the way at the three other soaps. Here’s all the soap opera news you missed in the Soap Hub Weekly News Wrap.

Changes at the Top
Mal Young is out as head writer and executive producer at The Young and the Restless and penned a letter to explain why.

The show has already named his replacements, and speculation has begun about whether actors who were written off, like Doug Davidson (Paul), could be returning.

Many Happy Returns
Arianne Zucker, who last seen perishing in a fire as Days of Our Lives’ Nicole, is heading back to the show. Find out when and what she had to say about it.
