The Daytime Emmy Awards are on Sunday, April 30, and the world will know once and for all who takes home Daytime Emmy gold!

The nominees for Outstanding Younger Leading Actor in a Drama Series include Bryan Craig (Morgan, GH), Pierson Fodé (Thomas, BB), James Lastovic (Joey, DOOL), Tequan Richmond (TJ, GH), and Anthony Turpel (R.J., BB).

Leading up to the exciting, live stream event, Soap Hub asked you which actor is your favorite to win the award.

Port Charles Tragedy!
Ultimately, your votes are in, and nearly 35% of you believe that General Hospital’s Brian Craig will take home the iconic statue Sunday night. His portrayal of Morgan’s slide back into his bipolar disorder once his medication was tampered with is the stuff of daytime gold! Plus, his explosive exit broke fans’ hearts.

Will he repeat last year’s win?

He Killed A Woman in Salem!
James Lastovic’s Joey actually smothered Ava with a pillow when he got sick of her nasty manipulations. He pushed the pillow until she died. The burden of what he did weighed heavily on his mind and nearly drove him insane!

For 31% of you, his gut-wrenching performance deserves the top prize!

A Heartbreaking Decision
Pierson Fode received his second nomination for his portrayal of Thomas. This year, nearly 18% of you see him taking top honors for his scenes in which he learns that he fathered a son with his step-mother Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) wrestled with claiming his son or allowing his dad, Ridge, to raise him as his own.

Too Close to Call
Rounding out this robust category are Tequan Richmond and Anthony Turpel. They tied with 8% of your votes each!
