Poor Margaux Dawson started out with so much potential on General Hospital, but her story ended up fizzling and now it seems she’s ending her run with the soap.
Actress Elizabeth Hendrickson is returning to The Young and the Restless as Chloe, but original reports had her doing both YR and GH on a recurring basis. Now, according to Soaps.com, it looks like Hendrickson will be sticking with YR and leaving the ABC soap.
The actress is no stranger to ABC audiences, having played twins Frankie and Maggie on All My Children, but her character didn’t quite take on GH.
We thought she would be a new love interest for Drew, but that story went nowhere and we never really understood why Margaux withheld that flash drive from him and then gave it back for him to never use it.
Sonny became the good guy in her dad’s murder story because it turned out Margaux’s mom ordered the hit all those years ago and now the DA is coming to the realization that the cult we never saw her become involved with is, in fact, a cult.
How Margaux will be written off GH is as yet unknown, but we are guessing it will have something to do with Shiloh.
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
