They’re a soap staple as old as time– infamous soap opera cat-fight. They’re usually between two women, and age seems to not be a factor, given that ladies of all ages can part take. Still, are these fights fun for viewers, or do they make you squirm with discomfort?
After all, women fighting with each other in such a way isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but Soap Hub was dying to know where our readers fall on the cat-fight scale… and you certainly did not disappoint! Over 7,500 of you played judge and rendered your verdict. Here it is!
A Little Spice Is Nice
For 51% of you, an occasional fight between two of your favorite ladies is always welcome.
You don’t like too much of a good thing but if Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) and Sharon (Sharon Case) want to get into it over Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) on The Young and the Restless, you wouldn’t mind it one bit! That Mia is asking for it anyway, she’s so rude!
Days of Our Lives fans recall it was almost a daily ritual with Sami (Alison Sweeney) either getting slugged or doing the slugging… and most of the time she did deserve it. Especially when her sister Carrie (Christie Clark) was the one throwing the punch!
Out With The Dodo Bird
Not so fast, 33% of you. Those scenes are completely demeaning and have no place in this day and age. Even if women do still act like that, you don’t want to see it.
You prefer the sophisticated arguments – you know the kind, with words and all – like those between Carly (Laura Wright) and Ava (Maura West) on General Hospital.
Bring It On
Then there’s the 16% of you who can’t get enough of them! You probably loved it every time some woman took up an issue with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and slapped her on The Bold and the Beautiful.
She’s certainly angered a lot of them! Those scenes were always classic and you see nothing wrong with women letting off a little steam!
