Fans of the dearly departed All My Children who desperately seek to see a reunion will have their wish come true. Actually, they want to see the show back on the air, but in lieu of that happening, a treat is in store
According to a People report, The Queen of Daytime herself, Susan Lucci (Erica Kane), will guest co-host Home & Family on The Hallmark Channel from Jan. 30 through Feb. 3. While that in itself is exciting, there’s even more exciting news!
As part of her co-hosting gig, on Thursday, Feb. 2, Lucci will lead an entire AMC reunion on Home & Family.
Appearing with her on that date are Peter Bergman (Cliff Warner AMC, Jack Abbott Y&R), Kim Delaney (Jenny Gardner), Lawrence Lau (Greg Nelson), Eden Riegel (Bianca Montgomery), Kathleen Noone (Ellen Shepherd Dalton), Eva LaRue (Dr. Maria Santos Grey), John Callahan (Edmund Grey), Rebecca Budig (Greenlee Smythe Lavery, Hayden Barnes GH), and Cameron Mathison (Ryan Lavery).
Isn’t it thrilling to get to see some of the show’s greatest couples like Jenny and Greg, Greenlee and Ryan, and Maria and Edmund reunited? Plus how exciting will it be to see Bianca and Erica together again, as well as so many other familiar faces from the past?
Obviously, Brooke (Julia Barr), Tad (Michael E. Knight) and Dixie (Cady McClain), Opal (Jill Larson), and so many others will be sorely missed.
Of the reunion, Lucci said, “It’s going to be so exciting to see so many of the people I worked with, love, and admire. We all haven’t been together since All My Children went off ABC (in 2011).”
In addition to the cast reunion, the show will also feature segments with footage of Erica Kane’s family drama over the years, a look back at Pine Valley’s supercouples, and a tribute to late AMC cast members such as David Canary…continue reading on the next page —>
In speaking about the late Nixon, Lucci said, “Agnes meant so much to me my whole adult life. I was beyond lucky to be in her hands. She was a mentor to me and I admired her tremendously. She was a modern woman and the youngest voice in the room.”
Be sure to tune into the Hallmark Channel on Feb. 2 at 10 am EST to see this wonderful reunion at least six years in the making. If you cannot get enough of La Lucci, then you can watch the show for the entire week and see her every single day!
Will you tune into see the reunion as well as the other shows? How much would you like to see AMC back on daytime? Who else do you think is missing from this extra special AMC cast get-together?
