Eva LaRue, whose arrival at The Young and the Restless was announced just this past week, is now dealing with a tragic loss none of us ever wants to experience.
LaRue shared a touching tribute to her father, Luis, on Instagram after his recent passing, along with a photograph surrounded by roses at his memorial.
“An unconventional memorial for an unconventional Man. I love you, Daddy, You will always be with me, in mind, heart, and Spirit. I know your love will morph into an omnipresent feeling of guidance.
God gave us memory so that we can have roses in December.”
LaRue came to daytime fame in the 1990s as Dr. Maria Santos Grey on All My Children. She returned to the role in the 2000s when a presumed dead Maria was found to be very much alive.
The actress also spent several years on the primetime series, CSI: Miami. She just landed the role of Celeste Gonzalez on YR, mother to Rey, Lola, and Arturo. LaRue is set to make her first Genoa City appearance at the end of June.
Soap Hub sends our deepest condolences to LaRue and her loved ones during this difficult time.
