Everyone loves babies so when soap operas want to kick up the drama, they know a surefire way to get the audience more involved is to do a good old-fashioned baby-switch!

Whether a family involved suffered a loss of a baby or aren’t even aware that the precious cargo they brought home from the hospital isn’t the one they delivered, fans are usually on the edge of their seats, waiting for the inevitable; for the realization that something has happened!

But do you enjoy the stress of it all? That’s just what Soap Hub asked almost 20,000 weighed in. Here are those results!

Bring It On!
A whopping 85% of you love these types of stories! The Bold and the Beautiful has one going on right now and you’re on the edge of your seat, devastated for poor Liam (Scott Clifton) and Hope (Annika Noelle) while wide-eyed as it seems Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will end up adopting Beth, the infant they think has died.

This is the kind of drama soaps need and the fallout can wait years to arrive!

Look at The Young and the Restless with Mariah (Camryn Grimes) being stolen from Sharon (Sharon Case). She didn’t even know she had twins! You live for this stuff and the soaps sure know how to deliver.

What do you think? Post a comment!

Enough Is Enough
The remaining 15% are over it. This soap cliché is played out already and you hope not to see it ever again. General Hospital fans are sick of waiting for poor Michael (Chad Duell) to learn that his boy Jonah didn’t die in childbirth and is actually his godson Wiley. The suspense is killing you!

Days of Our Lives fans can relate: When Nicole (Arianne Zucker) stole Sami (Alison Sweeney) and EJ’s (James Scott) baby and switched it with another woman’s baby who eventually died, they were brokenhearted to see Sami and EJ in such pain.

It was months before the truth finally came out… and you were stressed!
