In the ’80s, Mary Page Keller and Thomas Ian Griffith played one of the hottest couples on daytime television. As Caitlin Ewing and Sally Frame on Another World, their characters faced drama and even an invalid wedding. In real life, the two have been married since 1991. They’re both flourishing in their professional careers, too. Most recently, they have both made their mark on the Netflix hit drama Virgin River, a series which features plenty of soapy elements.

The Actors

Over the years, the husband and wife have continued to act in various projects. In fact, Griffith’s appearance as the villainous Terry Silver in 1989’s Karate Kid III allowed him to bring that character to the current TV reimagining of the Karate Kid franchise called Cobra Kai. Silver’s back during this final season of the drama. The second part of the show’s sixth and final season drops on Netflix on November 15.

Meanwhile, Keller has guest starred on a ton of TV shows including Scandal, JAG, Bosch, Mad Men, and Supernatural. However, her last acting credit on IMDB was for three episodes of the late great Freeform series Pretty Little Liars.

Behind the Scenes Forces

These days, Keller and Griffith are developing into bigger deals behind the scenes. Griffith wrote and produced for NBC’s Grimm, while Keller wrote an episode of the supernatural drama that starred another real-life TV couple, David Giuntoli and Bitsie Tulloch.

Keller also wrote an installment of Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings, the Netflix series, in which each episode was based on one of Parton’s iconic songs. Keller wrote the sixth episode, “Sugar Hill.”

However, they are both supervising producers and writers on one of Netflix’s biggest hit shows, Virgin River. They joined in the fifth season and are contributing to the show’s sixth season, which returns on December 19. According to IMDB, the married producers/writers are listed as penning the show’s upcoming fifth episode.
