Erica Kane Part Deux

That connection to Pine Valley may soon grow even stronger. Earlier this month, All My Children alums Kelly Ripa (Hayley) revealed that she and husband Mark Consuelos (Mateo) are developing two All My Children movies for Lifetime through their production company, Milojo.

In an interview with TV Line, Lucci made it clear she’s open to returning to her iconic role—provided the creative vision is right. “I will always listen, but I have to know I’m in good hands,” Lucci shared. She emphasized the importance of strong leadership, noting how vital it was to work with All My Children creator Agnes Nixon and longtime head writer Lorraine Broderick during the show’s original run. Knowing who is writing the project and understanding the overall concept, she says, is essential.

That said, Lucci expressed confidence in Ripa and Consuelos leading the effort, calling the prospect “very encouraging.” Under those circumstances, she confirmed she would be eager to be involved, making a Pine Valley return feel more possible than ever.

The actress recently visited Soapy, hosted by her former co-star Rebecca Budig (Greenlee, AMC; Taylor, The Bold and the Beautiful) and Days of Our Lives‘ Greg Rikaart (Leo), where she also discussed the book and the reboot.
