Passions and The Young and the Restless alum Justin Hartley finished the first season of his missing person drama, Tracker , with a second season renewal and bragging rights as the number one non-sports show of the 2023-2024 broadcast season. Now he’s back with season two, and he’s already bringing back some of the guest stars he relied on last season. Yes, that means Days of Our Lives alum Jensen Ackles and Hartley’s real-life wife, Sofia Pernas, are back.

Season 2 Episode 1 Synopsis: “Out of the Past” – While investigating the strange disappearance of a missing family whose car was found abandoned on the side of the road in the backwoods of Arkansas, Colter makes a shocking discovery about the mother’s past that leads him into the world of organized crime. Also, Reenie opens up her new law firm and enlists Velma’s help in setting up shop,. Justin Hartley’s Colter Shaw is a reward seeker, who only collects if he finds and rescues the missing person or persons. Hartley played Fox Crane on ‘Passions,’ and then was a recast Adam Newman on Y&R before moving on to ‘This is Us.’ He’s also an executive producer on Tracker. Season 2 Episode 2 Synopsis: ‘Ontological Shock’ – When Colter suddenly disappears during his search for a missing father, Reenie recruits his brother, Russell, for help. This season, Colter will continue to learn more and more about his family’s past, which is why his brother’s presence is so important. They still don’t know what happened to their father or who really killed him. Up until recently, Colter thought Russell had something to do with their dad’s death. DAYS alum Ackles starred on ‘Supernatural’ for 15 seasons before moving on to shows like Prime Video’s ‘The Boys,’ ABC’s ‘Big Sky,’ and the upcoming Prime Video series, ‘Countdown.’ On ‘Supernatural,’ Ackles’s character, Dean Winchester, drove a killer car. It was a ’67 Chevy Impala called “Baby.” While this ‘Tracker’ set photo doesn’t feature Baby, Ackles and Hartley get to ride in the next best thing…a convertible. Season 2 Episode 3: ‘Bloodlines’ Synopsis – Colter and rival rewardist Billie Matalon team up to find a missing high school baseball star. Hartley’s real-life wife Sofia Pernas’s season one appearance was really fun because her character provided a bit of a challenge for Shaw. Hartley recently told AP that his wife was ‘a dream to work with’ and hoped that she’d make more appearances this season. Pernas played Marisa Sierras on Y&R from 2015 to 2016. Since leaving the show she has made her mark in shows like ‘Jane the Virgin,’ ‘Blood & Treasure,’ and ‘Quantum Leap.’ When not attempting to sort out his family drama, Colter Shaw is looking for the cases that need his special brand of skills. Plus, he has assembled a team that largely works remote to help him out. ‘Tracker’ airs Sundays on CBS.
