Innovative New Soap

This innovative project reunites Hutchison, Morgan, and Mack with industry heavyweights,
including Emmy Award-winning writer and producer Sally Sussman, and acclaimed producer-writer-actors Dorell Anthony and Rob Hill. Together, they aim to deliver an unforgettable experience for fans of high drama, passion, and the timeless themes of love, betrayal, and redemption.

Set in the fictional town of Chesterfield, Threads of Time will follow the dramatic twists and turns in the lives of the Forsyth family and those entangled in their world. Blending traditional soap opera storytelling with an innovative multimedia approach, the series will feature character visuals, atmospheric video backdrops, and cinematic opening credits—ushering in a new era for the scripted podcast genre.

The cast is led by Elizabeth von Isser, portraying twin sisters Evelyn Baker-Forsyth and
Eleanor Baker, whose decades-old secret threatens to unravel their complex family legacy. The ensemble also features BJ Van Griffin, Candice Mack, Ashley Stewart, Dorell Anthony, Joshua Zac Philip, Kristina Sullivan, Diana Collins, Bart Peter Black, Matthew Preston, Natasha Partnoy, and soap opera legend Tonja Walker, alongside Aaron Clark.
Casey S. Hutchison will serve as Head Writer, with Morgan, Mack, and Hill joining as script
writers and story consultants alongside Sussman Morina. Dorell Anthony will additionally serve as Supervising Producer, bringing a powerful blend of talent and vision to the production team.

Threads of Time marks a bold step forward from the creative team who helped revitalize the audio soap opera format during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Their previous project, Forever and a Day, produced in collaboration with JLJ Media for its first three seasons, ran for five seasons and 108 episodes, earning accolades including the Indie Series Award for Best Ensemble of an Audio Fiction Program and featuring over 90 performers from across the entertainment industry.

“We’ve always believed in the power of the soap opera genre to tell stories that are emotional, thrilling, and deeply human,” says Hutchison. “Threads of Time is our continued love letter to the genre, and to the fans who crave layered, character-driven storytelling.”

For fans of classic soaps and modern podcasts alike, Threads of Time is a must-watch—and must-listen—event this fall.
