These days, actors often move between daytime, primetime, and streaming on a regular basis. Most recently, stars from The Young and the Restless, Days of Our Lives, and General Hospital popped up in law-and-order-type dramas.
A Person of Interest
Y&R’s Christopher Cousins (Dr. Alan Laurent) is someone who has a slew of primetime credits to go along with his daytime stints on As the World Turns, One Life to Live, and, currently, Y&R. Over the years, He’s appeared on shows like The O.C., The Vampire Diaries, Criminal Minds, The Resident, and Supernatural.
On Oct. 15, he guest starred on ABC’s High Potential. He played John Ashford, the father of a woman whose child was missing. He was also one of the main suspects. Cousins’ character was super shady and kept you guessing as to whether he was the episode’s big bad.
Cousins’ episode of High Potential is currently streaming on Hulu.

Testimony
Mary Beth Evans (Kayla) plays a doctor on Peacock’s Days of Our Lives and an often traumatized socialite on the digital soap The Bay.
In the second episode of the third season of Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer, she portrayed a housewife testifying against a man accused of robbing her home. Her scene was intense and, at times, brutal as she recited an officer’s statement detailing what happened when she was held at gunpoint. Evans did a great job as the woman who had to make Mickey Haller, aka The Lincoln Lawyer, believe she saw what she saw after being attacked.
The DAYS actress posted about her exciting role on Instagram. She excitedly wrote, “I had such a great time working on episode 2, season 3 of @lincolnlawyernetflix , which is streaming on @netflix as of this week!”
Several of Evans’s co-stars replied to her post. Stephen Nichols (Steve) said, “Go get ‘em, baby!♥️” Kristian Alfonso (Hope) simply applauded and raised hands in respect, “👏👏🙌🙌.” as did her TV daughter Abigail Klein (Stephanie): “👏👏👏.” A Martinez, her former DAYS costar and one of her fellow actors from The Bay, said, “You go, homegirl!”
The Lincoln Lawyer currently streams on Netflix.

Her character particularly responded to Alfaro. The two briefly connected over their Albanian heritage, and the grateful woman gave him a delicacy she baked to thank the squad for helping save someone she loves.
