Mother And Son Soap Jump: Judith Chapman IN At DAYS!

They played mother and son on one soap and now that Judith Chapman is making her way BACK to Days of Our Lives, they’ll play mother and son on another.

According to Soap Opera News, Chapman is already on set and will be playing Leo’s mother. Or rather, Matthew.

As Soap Hub previously reported, it looks like Leo/Matthew is not dead after all, with he and his smarmy lawyer Ted returning to Salem in the coming months… and Chapman will be joining them.

Chapman and Greg Rikaart (Leo) spent years together on The Young and the Restless as the mother and son team of Kevin and Gloria. Kevin no longer lives in Genoa City, but makes sporadic appearances, as does Gloria as she still works at Jabot.

Both actors are considered recurring at Y&R, which is why they are also able to work on Days of Our Lives.

Chapman already has DAYS experience from way back in the 1980s when she played Anjelica Deveraux, the character last played by Morgan Fairchild who died last year.
