Could Mishael Morgan Become The New Jordan On GH?

With Mishael Morgan having already taped her last scenes as Hilary Curtis on The Young and the Restless, she’s a free agent. She’s also a talent to be reckoned with in a genre that’s lacking in strong and prominent black women.

On General Hospital, a top-notch actress – Vinessa Antoine – is leaving the soap to star in the Canadian primetime series Diggstown, while her character is planning a wedding.

Sure, it may be an awkward time for a recast with a wedding on the horizon, but the wedding does not have to happen. After all, this is a soap, and weddings often don’t go off without a hitch.

But Jordan and Curtis are a popular pair, and it would be a shame for GH to lose the character. The soap may be losing Vinessa Antoine, but it might be foolish to let Morgan slip through its fingers.

Morgan left Y&R because the powers-that-be refused to up her pay in their new contract negotiations. Could GH lure the actress, who just announced her second pregnancy?

She worked on Y&R through her first pregnancy, so she can certainly do the job at GH. The soap can either hide her baby bump or write the pregnancy in, which would be thrilling for Jordan and Curtis fans.

While this is only speculation and could be a pipe dream, adding Morgan would certainly add something to Port Charles.
