Make A Wish: What You Want For Soaps In 2018

It’s a new year and that means people everywhere are making their list of resolutions, hopes, and wishes for what they want in 2018 – but what are soap fans wishing for?

That is exactly what Soap Hub asked and you certainly let your feelings be known as over 9,000 people shared their soap wishes.

Stay on the Air
For 61% of you, your wish was plain and simple – and you don’t feel it was asking a lot. You simply want to see your favorite soaps stay on the air for another year. After all, Days of Our Lives (DOOL) has just gotten into a groove with Ron Carlivati’s writing hitting its stride. You don’t want it to go anywhere!

And what about Jason (Steve Burton) and Drew (Billy Miller) on General Hospital (GH)? You know there’s so much more to the story, you couldn’t bear for it to leave the air without learning who did this to them or who Drew was before he became Jason. It just wouldn’t be fair!

And don’t even get us started on what would happen if The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) were to disappear from the airwaves before Bill (Don Diamont) found out his ex-wife Katie (Heather Tom) is sleeping with his son, Wyatt (Darin Brooks). No way!

Fans of The Young and the Restless (YR) feel the same way – it can’t go anywhere before the secret of Christian’s paternity comes to light. You need to see that story paid off (preferably with Adam returning from the dead to claim his son and wife) or there may be a mutiny of CBS!

It’s All About Character
Meanwhile, 38% wished to see more of their favorite character in 2018. There’s certainly nothing wrong with that wish – everyone can relate to that one. You can never get enough of your favorites so here’s hoping that wish comes true for everyone!
