Linsey Godfrey seems to be on a mission for the new year.
The actress, who shot to fame as Caroline on The Bold and the Beautiful and now is playing Sarah on Days of Our Lives, took to Instagram recently to share a fact about her body; about all of our bodies.
“News flash! I have cellulite! Yep! Everyone does. Some of us have more noticeable than others. It’s genetics.”
But the actress didn’t always know this and she had a tough time for a long time.
“I’ve made myself crazy over the years obsessing about it and with trying to be perfect, I was being unhealthy and treating my body super unkind both in my dialogue and thoughts about my body and what I was physically doing to myself to achieve that skinny skinny look.”
Luckily, Godfrey now has a much healthier outlook about her body and life in general.
“I have gained 15-20lbs of muscle and good fat in the last 2 years on my path to a healthy body and mind.”
And she looks fantastic! Godfrey has been tweeting inspirational messages, trying to get people to go easier on themselves and she continued that message with this last post.
“Let’s all learn to love ourselves and each other and STOP GIVING UNSOLICITED OPINIONS ON APPEARANCES!!!”
You can see her tweets below that she posted after the new year. They are filled with positive thoughts and hope. The Internet could use a lot more of this than the negativity we all tend to see.

Follow people who inspire you, unfollow people who make you feel bad about yourself. I recently went through and unfollowed anyone’s account that made me worry about my body and followed women who made me love it, instead. My advice for 2019, do the same!

There are so many amazing women who promote body positivity and self love. You are uniquely you, no one else in the world is exactly like you! Do the things you love! Be healthy! Celebrate the beauty that you already possess!

My other little advice for 2019, take risks! I always have people say to me they wish they could change their hair, cut it short, change the color, cut bangs etc.. but they are too scared because of what other people might say and I say DO IT ANYWAY! Do things forYOU this year ❤️
