In The Line Of Fire: Soap Stars Brace As Southern California Burns

Several fires are burning up Southern California right now, and many of your favorite soap stars have been affected – even  needing to evacuate.

Right now, there are at least four fires burning, and the footage coming out on social media is frightening. Major highways around Los Angeles and Ventura County have been closed down, making evacuations that much harder.

There hasn’t been any word if any of the four soaps that shoot in Los Angeles have been affected, but since their studios aren’t in the mountains but rather in highly populated areas, it’s doubtful for the moment. But many actors do live in those areas.

General Hospital (GH) star Kimberly McCullough (Robin), who lives in Ventura County, tweeted out that she’s safe and about how she made out just before the main road closed. Co-star Michelle Stafford (Nina) thanked first responders with her tweet.

Former Days of Our Lives (DOOL) star, A Martinez (ex-Eduardo) posted footage from the Thomas Fire in Ventura and warned followers to make a plan. Former DAYS love interest Lauren Koslow (Kate) shared footage of the fire’s effect on the morning sun.

The Bold and the Beautiful’s (BB) Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy) also shared harrowing fire footage as she begged people to not leave their animals at home. She along with several other soap stars shared their thoughts and prayers that everyone makes it through this alive.

The latest fire along the infamous 405 freeway in the Sepulveda Pass is threatening a famous museum, The Getty Center, and right now very little of these four fires have been contained.

With the threat of more Santa Ana winds, it’s looking like these fires will get worse before they get better, affecting the lives of many in the soap and entertainment industry.
