The daytime world is still devastated by the tragic loss of Kristoff St. John this past Sunday night, and now The Young and the Restless will lose Neil Winters forever after nearly three decades in Genoa City.
According to the soap, St. John’s last scenes as Neil airs on Wednesday, as the character is there for his son Devon at another career-changing moment.
Even more poignant is when Neil and Devon discuss depression and how Devon is handling the loss in his life over the last half year. As the show ends, expect to see Neil looking on with pride as Devon has a night to remember.
CBS made the announcement on Twitter that the show would air St. John’s last scenes mid-week, and on Friday, it will air a tribute to the actor and his many years as the patriarch of the Winters family.
“To honor Kristoff St. John, #YR will air a special tribute to him during the show on Friday, Feb. 8. His final episode of The Young and the Restless will air tomorrow. Please join us in saying goodbye to a beloved member of the Y&R and CBSDaytime family.”
The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
