Jason Thompson Shares Photo Of Family Member’s Painful Medical Procedure!

Former General Hospital star (ex-Patrick) and current The Young and the Restless heartbreaker, Jason Thompson (Billy), could have been the one with a real-life broken heart this time.

The handsome actor shared a picture on Instagram (see below) of his family’s dog, Vedder (who also has his own Instagram account!), post knee surgery. Apparently the pup had surgery on one knee and a plate put in the other and now is all bandaged up.

The recovery for an animal post-surgery is never easy, and for now it looks like Vedder has avoided the Cone of Shame that many dogs have to endure. One thing we’re pretty confident he isn’t avoiding is lots of tender love and care from the entire Thompson household. After all, a dog is a family’s best friend.

Meanwhile Thompson continues going strong on Y&R as Billy, who is trying to help his ex, Victoria (Amelia Heinle), co-parent their kids as well as her son, Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu). Will they fall in love in the process?
