Jaime Lyn Bauer On Her Return To TWO Soaps At Once!

Jaime Lyn Bauer was one of the biggest soap stars of the 70s and early 80s. Her run on The Young and the Restless made her a fan favorite as her character Lorie Brooks searched for romance and fulfillment.

One of Lorie’s biggest stories was when she was framed for her murder by her vengeful mother-in-law!

However, she also made a name for herself in the 90s and 2000s as Laura Horton on Days of Our Lives (DOOL), a role originally played by Susan Flannery, who went on to play Stephanie on The Bold and the Beautiful.

As previously reported by Soap Hub, Bauer’s on her way back to Y&R for the show’s 45th anniversary. The actress has shared some details on her being back in Genoa City with her fans on her Facebook page.

“We shot it last week at the usual place and stage [43],” Bauer wrote.

“I had a lot of fun, though I didn’t have the opportunity to see all the people I still know (as everyone was working.)

“But it was so wonderful hugging and kissing so many old friends…Everyone was very gracious and kind. I was able to catch up with Janice Lynde [Leslie], which I really enjoyed.”

Bauer revealed that her air date is set for Tuesday, March 27, 2018, which is one day after the show’s official anniversary on March 26th.

But there’s more! Bauer’s also taking another whirl as DAYS’ Laura, a psychiatrist who is likely dearly needed by now in Salem. Bauer says she’ll be airing on DAYS on Wednesday, May 30th.

The last time we saw Laura, she allegedly cured her mentally ill granddaughter, Abigail, but it doesn’t look like she finished the job now that she has another personality named Gabigail. Perhaps Laura will lend her help once again.
