Jacob Young is constantly on the move. The actor, best known to fans of The Bold and the Beautiful as Rick, is bringing his YouTube talk show Daytime After Dark to a new night as he reunites with a former soap pal!
Daytime After Dark normally goes live on Monday nights, but now Young is moving his show to a new time slot — Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET starting this week, October 10, and his special guest on it will be Trent Garrett (ex-All My Children).
The two actors met when they appeared on the now-defunct serial. Young played JR Chandler. Garrett was Asher Pike during AMC’s last year on ABC. Asher first came to Pine Valley searching for his family, including his pop Caleb (Michael Nouri).
Asher took a job working for JR, whom he was related to via JR’s mother, Dixie (Cady McClain). Garrett got to play a painkiller storyline after Asher got hooked on pills after surviving an explosion. His love interest on the show was Colby (Natalie Hall).
Since leaving AMC, Garrett has worked regularly in Los Angeles. He’s known for his roles on Disney’s Andi Mack, Splitting Up Together, Kevin (Probably) Saves the World, and New Girl.
