How Mishael Morgan Could Land at GH, DAYS or The Bold and the Beautiful

The Young and the Restless is letting another major star get away – Mishael Morgan – so don’t be surprised if she quickly lands at General Hospital, Days of Our Lives or The Bold and the Beautiful.

As we’ve seen in the past – hello, Billy Miller (ex-Billy, Y&R; Drew, GH), Michelle Stafford (ex-Phyllis, Y&R; Nina, GH), and many more – other soaps are quick to sweep in, scoop up Y&R castoffs, and find brand-new roles for them.

Morgan, who played the complicated Hilary Curtis for five years, would be a fabulous addition to any soap. Here are three roles she’d be perfect for.

Hello Curtis
General Hospital has put out a casting call for a beautiful, dynamic and smart African American woman in her thirties to play Jessica.

The character, who plays both sides of the law, starts taping in August, and word is she’s being brought on to throw a wrinkle into the Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) coupling. Sounds perfect for Morgan, doesn’t it?

Theo’s Crush
How about Days of Our Lives bringing the healed Theo back to town with Morgan playing his sexy physical therapist.

Theo could have developed a major crush on her, while he was off in Africa, and be holding out hope of a real romance blossoming between them.

However, she could immediately zero in on some other Salem men like Eli (Lamon Archey), JJ (Casey Moss), or the filthy rich Brady (Eric Martsolf).

Pregnant Pause
Karla Mosley, who plays The Bold and the Beautiful’s Maya, is pregnant in real life. That means the actress will be heading off on maternity leave at some point in the next few months.

Morgan could easily step in as the Forrester model and handle the gig while she’s gone. Maybe she could even get her old Y&R parking space back, if she returns to work on her old studio lot.
