Guess What These Talented Soap Stars Have in Common!

Soap fans love these four soap stars on The Bold and the Beautiful (BB), Days of Our Lives (DOOL), The Young and the Restless (YR), and General Hospital (GH).

Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea, YR), Finola Hughes (Anna, GH), Thorsten Kaye (Ridge, BB), and Vincent Irizarry (Deimos, DOOL) have a common theme that links them together.

While these talented daytime actors and actresses are on different shows in 2017, they do have a special connection to each other.

All four stars spent time with the Queen of Daytime, Susan Lucci, in All My Children’s Pine Valley.

From Siblings to Lovers
Before she portrayed Chelsea on Y&R, Egan played Annie on AMC. At times Annie was more Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) level crazy on AMC.

Interestingly, when Egan’s character showed up in Genoa City, she was part of Billy Miller’s (then Billy Abbot, now Jason GH) storyline. In Pine Valley, these two actors portrayed siblings, Annie Lavery and Richie Novack.

Herself, Her Twin, and Tangled Webs
Many General Hospital fans may not realize that Hughes crossed over to All My Children for a time as both Anna and her twin, Alex. Anna’s current PC storyline has Anna acting a bit out of character, causing fans to wonder if she’s really Alex.

In Pine Valley, Alex Devane married Eric Kane’s ex-husband Dimitri Marick (Michael Nadar). However, when Anna arrived in town, she fell in love with Dr. David Hayward (Vincent Irizarry), and the two had a child together — the late Leora.

While Irizarry is leaving Days of Our Lives as Deimos, there is some speculation that he could possibly reprise his role of Dr. Hayward end up with Anna in Port Charles. Would you enjoy seeing Hughes and Irizarry together again on the small screen?

Last But Not Least
Finally, B&B’s Thorsten Kaye played rich playboy Zack Slater in Pine Valley before he landed in LA as Ridge. Interestingly, Dr. David Hayward actually brought Zack back to life on AMC although the two characters were certainly never friends.
