Former Soap Star Eva Longoria’s Stunning Birth!

On The Young and the Restless, Eva Longoria’s character Isabella gave birth to Paul’s son Ricky.

Now, the actress has become a real life to mom to her brand bundle of blue!

According to numerous reports, Longoria and her husband, Jose Bastón, welcomed their son on Tuesday, June 19 in Los Angeles at Cedars Sinai Hospital. The infant’s name is Santiago Enrique Bastón.

“We are so grateful for this beautiful blessing,” Logoria told HOLA! USA!

Longoria and her husband selected Santiago’s middle name, Enrique, as a tribute to two important men in the new mom’s life — her father, Enrique, and also, Ricky Martin, whose birth name is Enrique.

After leaving Y&R, Longoria appeared on the Aaron Spelling series Dragnet. She then landed the plum role of Gabrielle Solis on Desperate Housewives, cementing her reputation as a solid comedic actress.

After that series wrapped, she became executive producer of Devious Maids. Next. she starred on the short-lived NBC sitcom Telenovela, which she also executive produced.

Longoria’s also become a director, having stood behind the lens on such series as Brooklyn 99 and Jane the Virgin.

Her new series, Grand Hotel, on which she serves as executive producer, will debut later this fall on ABC!
