February Sweeps Mid-Month Report Card For Soaps

You can usually count on births, marriages, shootouts, and more during sweeps months on soaps and this February sweeps is no different. But are fans enjoying all of the pumped-up action?

Soap Hub wanted to check in with viewers to see how the latest craziness is going over and, of course, you came through with flying colors — almost 9,000, in fact, weighed in with a response. Here are those results.

Huge Success!
A whopping 69% declare February sweeps a resounding success for their favorite soap! The Bold and the Beautiful fans are mesmerized by Hope’s (Annika Noelle) pain over being told she lost her baby and growing attachment to Phoebe.

Days of Our Lives viewers breathed a sigh of relief that Abby’s (Kate Mansi) baby was returned safely to her and that Ciara (Victoria Konefal) was saved by Ben (Robert Scott Wilson).

General Hospital fans of Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) are thrilled that they’re pregnant again, while fans of The Young and the Restless are gaga over Kyle (Michael Mealor) and root for him to win the woman of his dreams, which right now seems to be Lola (Sasha Calle).

Huge Disappointment!
That still leaves 31% who felt February was a disaster! BB fans aren’t too upset about Ingo Rademacher’s (ex-Thorne) departure except it leaves poor Katie (Heather Tom) all alone.

Meanwhile, their loss is GH’s gain as GH fans have Jax to look forward to as they wait for the Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) rampage to end already.

DAYS fans are not happy at the lack of love scenes and focus on their faves, Will (Chandler Massey) and Sonny (Freddie Smith).

YR viewers are hoping that this JT (Thad Luckinbill) fiasco wraps up already — it’s almost been a year! Though they are thrilled at the news that Paul (Doug Davidson) will soon return!
