Fans Pick THIS Current Soap Opera Rivalry As Your Favorite

There have been some legendary rivalries over the years on soaps. Who can forget classic ones like Jill vs. Kay on Y&R, Lesley vs. Monica on GH, Roman vs. Stefano on DAYS, or Stephanie vs. Brooke on B&B?

But there are some new ones on the horizon that have what it takes to develop into solid long-term ones. Soap Hub asked you which current rivalries your favorite and you didn’t disappoint.

Crazy vs. Crazy
After over 9,500 votes were tallied, 39% chose the volatile Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) and Quinn (Rena Sofer) rivalry on The Bold and the Beautiful (BB). Who could blame you? These two powerhouse actresses give a master class each time they butt heads over Eric.

Father vs. Son
Coming right on their heels with 38% of the vote is Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) from The Young and the Restless (YR).

We would say they’re a great father and son rivalry, but since Victor just declared Nick is no longer his son, well…

Mother vs. Father
Meanwhile, 13% chose those fighting biological wonders from General Hospital (GH), Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). Despite having never met, these two managed to have a child and now each will fight to the end for custody.

Lulu does have some help in her corner. Her mother, Laura (Genie Francis), is also proving to be a lot for Valentin to handle, as she sticks up for her late son and grandchildren against him.

Ex-Lover vs. Ex-Lover
Not far behind them with 11% is the newly reignited rivalry between Adrienne (Judi Evans) and Anjelica (Morgan Fairchild) on Days of Our Lives (DOOL). While both women loved Justin, neither is with him now – but that’s not stopping them from hating each other.
