The respected thespian has been on several soaps, beginning he suds career as seductress Natalie Bannon on As the World Turns back in the 70s.
After a turn on Ryan’s Hope as Charlotte, Chapman joined General Hospital in 1984 as Ginny Blake, little Mike’s biological mom.
Chapman turned in a tour de force performance when Ginny fought for her life against the abusive D.L. Brock.
Next, Chapman played Sandra on One Life to Live before returning to the West Coast where she took over the role of Angelica Deveraux, a character who recently met her end on Days of Our Lives.
In between soap stints, Chapman has directed plays and starred as Vivien Leigh in a one-woman show titled Vivien.
In the play, Chapman brings to life the triumphs and tragedies that comprised the life of the late actress who starred in Gone With the Wind.
