Everything’s Relative: A General Hospital Reunion…On Days of Our Lives!

Soaps are a very small world and sometimes you realize just how small it really is when old friends reunite on a whole new show.

While Stephen Nichols came to daytime fame on Days of Our Lives, Tyler Christopher made a name for himself on General Hospital.

It was where Stephen Nichols played his beloved “Uncle”–namely Stefan Cassadine, the man who raised Nikolas Cassadine as a son.

Let us also not forget that Mary Beth Evans spent some time in Port Charles as a woman who loved Stefan.

She was also an older woman who claimed teenage Nikolas’s virginity as vixen Katherine Bell (who eventually fell to her death from the parapet at Wyndemere…long story DAYS fans).

And, of course, DAYS fans know Nichols and Evans as forever-in-love even when they hate each other Steve and Kayla Johnson, a supercouple since the 1980s.

Now, Christopher will be joining his old GH pals in Salem and he and Nichols tweeted a first shot of them behind the scenes together, jarring our memories with their ancient Port Charles history.

Of course, now we have to wonder if Christopher’s mystery character will have anything to do with Steve and Kayla, and if so, how…
