Love is always in the air on daytime and we live for soap opera romances. Currently, we have some pretty happy couples on our favorite soap operas, and that’s all fine and good…but there are a few past pairings we’d like to see again (even if it means the end of some fan-favorite love stories).
Down With Niktor, Up With Vashley
Don’t go writing a disgruntled paragraph just yet. We, too, love Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor (Eric Braeden) on The Young and the Restless. However, the revamping of the Newman Ranch brought us back to a time when Ashley (Eileen Davidson) was the lady of the manor. We gotta say, Victor and Ashley were one hot and heavy pairing, and we’d love to see them rekindle that flame…even for a little while.
Right Woman, Wrong Sibling
On the Days of our Lives front, we understand why so many people adore Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Johnny (Carson Boatman) together. But, we miss Chanel and Allie (Lindsay Arnold). What better way for Chanel to heal her heart after she finds out what her lowdown dirty husband did in the hotel room with Joy (Aisling Acuna) than by sleeping with his sister?! Talk about drama! Plus, let’s face it, the girls were good together. Very, very good.
Generally Speaking…
We have to give it to General Hospital for putting Robert (Tristan Rogers) back with Holly (Emma Samms). Great choice! However, we pine for Robert to be back with Anna (Finola Hughes). There was no better and sweeter love story than Anna and Scorpio. We hope one day to see them pick up where they left off.
Hope for Liam’s Future
Do we like Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor)? Oh my gosh, yes! Do we like Carter with Hope (Annika Noelle)? Eh, not really. We think Hope is much better suited for a life with Liam (Scott Clifton) over on The Bold and the Beautiful. They just work in a way no one else does, and we’d love to see them back in each other’s orbit. Hope messed up her marriage and it’s time she fixes what’s broken.
