It’s rare that soap stars from all four daytime dramas – The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of Our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and Restless – turn out for the same event, but that’s just what they’ve done for the holidays.
Performers from all four serials can be seen in the 87th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade Friday night!
The parade’s hosted by Erik Estrada (ex-Eduardo, B&B), Laura McKenzie, Dean Cain (Lois & Clark), and Montel Williams (ex-Clayton, Guiding Light) and can be seen on The CW Network on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 8 p.m.
Additional air times are available on the Hollywood Christmas Parade’s official website.
The parade will also be seen on Hallmark and will air to more than one million American servicemen and women worldwide on the American Forces Network at 12-Noon on December 25, 2018, Christmas Day.
Soap stars partaking in the pageantry include B&B’s Annika Noelle (Hope), Karla Mosley (Maya), Adain Bradley (Xander), and Kiara Barnes (Zoe); DAYS’ Deidre Hall (Marlena), Lauren Koslow (Kate), and Thaao Penghlis (ex-Andre/ex-Tony) represent the NBC soap at the parade.
GH stars include Jacklyn Zeman (Bobbie), Tristan Rogers (ex-Scorpio), Ian Buchanan (ex-Duke), John J. York (Mac), and Sean Kanan (ex-A.J.); and last, but certainly not least, Y&R stars Kate Linder (Esther), Jordi Vilasuso (Rey), and Alice Hunter (Kerry) ride cars down the parade route.
Musical performances will include songs from Donny and Marie Osmond, The Beach Boys performing Mike Love’s New single (You’ll Never Be) Alone on Christmas Day, Blake Lewis, Elliott Yamin, Kimberly Caldwell, David Archuleta, Ashanti, Ruben Studdard, and more!
Floats of larger than life characters will come down the streets of Hollywood. They include the Cat in the Hat, GUMBY, Penguins of Madagascar, the Grinch, the Nutcracker, and more!
The parade travels over three miles along the streets of Hollywood and was taped in late November. Sponsors include Marine Toys For Tots, Knotts’ Merry Farm, and many others.
