Forget about Nick choosing between Sharon and Phyllis! Soap stars from The Young and the Restless are divided over whether the Los Angeles Rams or the New England Patriots will win this Sunday’s Super Bowl LIII, which airs Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET on CBS!
To help promote the game, several stars weighed in on which team they’re rooting for and what their favorite part of the game is!
Melissa Ordway (Abby), who has posted social media pictures from the east coast, is going with the Patriots to win. Her TV dad Eric Braeden (Victor), a longtime resident of Los Angeles, is throwing his support to the Rams!
New York native Kristoff St. John (Neil) also hopes the Rams win while his TV daughter Lexie Stevenson (Mattie) is championing the Pats, but not necessarily because she hails from Maine. “Tom Brady (the Patriots’ quarterback) is very cute,” says the actress with a smile.
You don’t have to be a football fan to enjoy the Super Bowl. Kate Linder (Esther) says her favorite part of the sporting event is all the commercials. Beth Maitland (Traci) says she likes the half-time show!
Check out the Super Bowl-themed video posted on Y&R’s official Twitter to see which other stars have something to say about the big event and learn which team has their support!
The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
