It’s A Big One As Wally Kurth Celebrates AMAZING Milestone!

You know him as Ned on General Hospital and Justin on Days of Our Lives, and today Wally Kurth celebrates a huge day!

Kurth was born on July 31, 1958, in Billings, Montana and that means he is turning 60 today! He grew up with a keen interest in both acting and music and has managed to make a career for himself in both.

He has appeared in a variety of theater productions ranging from regional theater to the Kennedy Center to Broadway.

But it’s on television where he made a name for himself. The talented actor created the role of Justin Kiriakis on DAYS back in 1987, where he soon shot to fame as part of a super coupling with Daytime Emmy-winner, Judi Evans, who plays Adrienne.

During one of his many breaks from that show, he replaced actor Kurt Robin McKinney in the role of Ned on General Hospital in 1993, quickly making the role his own.

It was there that he met his second wife, Rena Sofer (now Quinn on The Bold and the Beautiful), who played Lois. They have a daughter, Rosabel. He also has a daughter, Meghann, from a previous relationship.

Kurth also played Sam on As The World Turns, from 2007-2008 and appeared on a variety of other shows, including Law & Order: LA, Hot in Cleveland, and Generator Rex. He’s also voiced characters in several video games.

Kurth has been married to his current wife, Debra Yuhasz since 2003 and they have a son, Brogan, who is now 13 years old.

In addition to his acting career, he has had great success with his band, Kurth & Taylor, and they won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Song for “Barefoot Ballet” from General Hospital, which was a single from their album, Freedom.

They spend many weekends performing at charity functions to raise money for the Kurth & Taylor Foundation, which donates money to local and national children’s charities.
