When it comes to marriages on soaps, the words “til death do us part” rarely stand the test of time.

Even the most devoted couples tend to separate or divorce at least once. The real born-to-be-together twosomes, however, always work their way through their problems and find their way back to one another understanding that their love is precious.

Here’s a current list of soaps’ most inspirational marriages.

Maggie and Victor, Days of Our Lives (DOOL)
Love has proven just as sweet the second time around for Maggie (Suzanne Rogers), who wed Victor (John Aniston) after the death of her beloved Mickey (John Clarke).

Although they’re clearly opposites – she’s honest and above board; he’s got some dubious criminal ties – their connection is powerful and real. Maggie challenges old Vic like none of his previous wives, and she’s one of the few who’s never tried to kill him.

Lauren and Michael, The Young and the Restless (YR)
Despite their seriously checkered pasts, Lauren (Tracey Bregman) and Michael (Christian LeBlanc) were transformed into new people, when they found one another and wed.

Their union has been solid for years, overcoming Lauren’s brief affair with Carmine and Michael pushing his wife away when he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. In the end, they realized they can get through anything by being open and honest, and they’re determined to keep things that way.

Dante and Lulu, General Hospital (GH)
Lulu (Emme Rylan) stopped fighting her feelings for Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and married him, finally realizing he was perfect husband material.

Yes, they’ve weathered a few storms – including Lulu lying during a custody battle with Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson); Dante’s fling with Valerie (Brytni Sarpey); and Lulu’s amnesia after being cryogenically frozen.

Yet, their unconditional love prevailed. Dante proved the extent of it by accepting Lulu’s daughter, Charlotte, fathered by Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), as his own.

Quinn and Eric, The Bold and the Beautiful (BB)
The diabolical Quinn (Rena Sofer) reinvented herself as a doting devoted wife when she fell for Eric (John McCook). He, in turn, opened his heart to love and started living again.

The May-December coupling initially seemed doomed, since Eric’s family loathed his bride. But, in time, they came around.

While Quinn’s far from perfect and did indulge in a serious flirtation with her stepson, Ridge (Thorsten), she ultimately put on the brakes and confessed all to Eric, who forgave her. After all, they both know their love is irreplaceable.
