On soaps, he’s faced some medical crises, including getting a kidney transplant! Now, Jacob Young has suffered a real-life injury!
Young, who debuted on the half-hour soap in 1997, took to social media with the news that he may have broken his ankle!
The mishap occurred when the actor arrived home and decided to rehearse some impromptu dance steps. Young says he rolled his ankle, and even though he’s not a doctor (nor does he play one on television), he has diagnosed himself as having likely broken it!
Young went on to say that his wife, Christen, has the situation under control!
Young started his soap career on B&B but quit the show in 1999. He next joined the cast of General Hospital (GH) as Lucky, the role that won him a Daytime Emmy. He then moved to New York to play JR Chandler on All My Children.
Young returned to B&B in 2011 as Rick and switched to recurring status with the show last spring.
Soap Hub wishes Young a speedy recovery and hopes he’s back on his feet (both figuratively and literally!) very soon!
