Finola Hughes, Katherine Kelly Lang, and Thorsten Kaye
Time will tell if Brooke and Ridge end up getting married (again!) on The Bold and the Beautiful. But their portrayers, Katherine Kelly Lang and Thorsten Kaye, are committed to a new movie project — with a surprising ABC star!
Lang posted to social media that she and her leading man, along with Finola Hughes (Anna, General Hospital), have teamed up to bring to life a film titled How To Climb A Tree, which takes place in Italy.
Lang’s producing the film. It was from a story by Kaye. And Hughes will direct the project. Kaye, along with Lindsey Glass, wrote the script. According to the film’s Facebook page, it is about finding the fearlessness to rediscover the joy of friendship, music, love, and life.
There’s no word on casting, so it’s possible that one or more of the creative team members behind the camera will also appear in the movie.
Lang has producing credits on her resume, having served as associate producer on four different projects including the web soap Venice, which earned her a Daytime Emmy. Also, she is the executive producer of the film Dark Wolf Gang.
Hughes directed the 2013 film The Bet.
They have also brought on a heavy-hitter as the Director of Photography — Roberto Schaefer, who has worked that same position on such films like The Kite Runner, Finding Neverland, and Quantum of Silence.
