EJ DiMera
The DiMera family was infused with new life when James Scott was introduced as Stefano’s son on DAYS.

The character, who started out as dark and evil, was transformed into a romantic leading man courtesy of his contentious relationship with Sami. Yet, he never lost his powerful edge, making him the perfect DiMera to succeed Stefano at the helm of their family empire.

However, when Scott opted to leave the show, the soap scripted his stunning murder. Sami was left widowed, Johnny and Sydney were left fatherless, and DAYS was left without the rightful heir to the DiMera throne. Since Joseph Mascolo’s death, EJ’s absence has become even more glaring.

Chloe Mitchell
Sassy, psychotic, and a vengeful force to be reckoned with, Chloe Mitchell was a one-of-a-kind soap character brought to life by the incomparable Elizabeth Hendrickson on Y&R.

She was must-watch TV in every scene, be it bamboozling bestie Chelsea, plotting against Adam or going head-to-head with Victor. When the truth came out about her orchestrating Adam’s murder, Chloe was sent on the run.

Then, in a shocking twist, the soap scripted the character’s suicide. Say it isn’t so! Chloe’s departure leaves a huge void in Kevin, Esther and even the horribly wronged Chelsea’s lives.

Worst of al,l there’s been no closure. Y&R should have sent the duplicitous Chloe back to the mental hospital rather than scripting her demise.
